This section of the web site is dedicated to photo galleries depicting scenes from the Memphis Fire Department.  Typically these photos have not been cleaned up or retouched in Photoshop.  They are just straight dumps from the camera.

About the Photographer

If you're seeing this page, you probably already know that I am the Audio-Visual Specialist for the Memphis Fire Department.   I may photograph fire scenes for documentation, historical archive, and training purposes.  However, I also try to take photos of the people on the scene, especially once the fire has been knocked down and secondary search is all clear.  After all, I've been a photographer for 20 years ... long before I came to work for the City.

These images are protected under US copyright laws and have been approved by the Memphis Fire Department for public display. Feel free to save  these images for your own personal use.  Any other use requires written authorization from the Memphis Fire Department.
