Are you a licensed business?Yes. I am licensed and registered as a business in Memphis. I collect and pay state sales tax, property tax, license fees, etc. When picking a photographer, it is important to know you are working wth a legitimate business and not just "some guy with a camera." Are your prints ink-jet?All photo prints up to 16x20 are traditional photographs, printed on the highest quality professional papers from Kodak and Fuji. Larger posters are Giclee prints, which is just the industry term for "ink jet." There's more to it, but I won't bore you with the technical details of dye vs. ink or professional printers. My Giclee prints are produced on an Epson Stylus Pro 9600 printer using Ultra-Chrome dyes and museum archive quality paper, rated for over 100 years of fade-free beauty. Do you restore photographs?Yes, we restore old or damaged photographs. Fees are based on the amount of damage and the level of restoration required. We discount reprints of your restored image, as well as provide the restored photo in high resolution digital format. Do you travel outside of Memphis?Yes. Depending on scheduling and the distance to be traveled, I am available for out-of-town bookings. For the right fee, I'll travel anywhere in the world. Please feel free to contact me for a special quote on your event. How do you ship your prints, and are they guaranteed?Prints are shipped by USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, or FedEx Overnight. All prints are guaranteed to arrive in pristine condition. Each print is placed into an acid-free clear envelope. Everything is sandwiched in cardstock and packaged to ensure your prints arrive with sharp edges and no creases. However, should prints arrive damaged, contact me for a prompt replacement. I will need the original prints returned or arrange for the carrier to pick them up for insurance claims. Who is "we?"I am married to a graphic artist, and we work together as a husband and wife team. We work on your project, sharing resources over the network in a streamlined process that provides you with exceptional quality in less time. When multiple projects overlap or when I need additional shooters, I will outsource to a very small pool of local talent who has proven their abilities to produce an exceptional product.
